Where To Sell Your Gold Jewelry

Just when I thought that I could make it, I decided that I need to sell gold jewelry if I was going to make ends meet. I knew that if I was going to make a little extra money, I needed to be sure that I was aware of all of my choices. Just like a lot people these days, I have been having a difficult time lately paying my bills and keeping the lights on. But what I didn’t realize was the fact that I could possibly have a gold mine in my bedroom.

When I began to look through my old jewelry, I found some old gold rings and a couple of old gold chains that I haven’t worn in years. I even found a gold watch. How did I forget about my gold watch? Well, I haven’t worn it in years and it doesn’t work anymore. My job has me so stressed out that I have to stop and think what day of the week it is. I’m sure that you have been there too.

The first thing that I needed to do wast to take a look and see if my jewelry was genuine or not. A few pieces looked looked like they might be silver some platinum or maybe yellow gold. Then I found that they had a hallmark stamp on them. One ring had a 14K stamp and the other had a 10K stamp.

And guess what, the ones with the stamp meant that they were real gold. Even my watch was genuine because it had a hallmark stamp on it.

This where I really fell into the big bucks. My wife has a jewelry box with lots of individual items in it that she had not worn in years. I really had to pay attention to find some genuine items. But I know what you are thinking here.

I knew that we needed to talk about it first because it was the right thing to do. We realized that we rarely ever wore these pieces and we agreed that we needed to sell some of it.

My wife is in her thirties and I am in my forties so over the years we both had collected a lot of jewelry. Making the decision to sell your gold jewelry is a tough one. Some of her jewelry had a lot of sentimental value and she just couldn’t part with a few pieces. But we knew that we had to make sure that we got the most money for our gold jewelry.
